It wasn't a joke about the company cat, I suspect.
Is it a competition for the most blandest, unfunny, typical American humour caption or for the funniest one. I may have read the rules wrongly as it must be the former.

Well, it's just that you came on here and advertised your site (for free) with the offer of magical prizes for whoever can think of a funny caption, and the winner is.... an unfunny statement!

Hey, I entered the contest with "the funniest caption." But, then, we all did or we wouldn't have entered (if we didn't believe our caption was the funniest!)
Someone has to be the judge. So be it.
And someone has to win, too. So be it.
I would be MOST suprised if everone agreed on the winner. But a winner we have, so let's stop whining about how brilliant we are!!!!
