I have search around the forum, and did not find a review of this product.
Well I'm just wondering if this product is worth buying, if I want a good introduction to spongeball magic?
Agreed with Part-Timer, Spongeball Toolkit offers excellent value for money, and you not only get 4 regular red goshman sponges, but a yellow one, 2 flat ones, a bunny, a purse frame, and a vanishing gimmick. DVD is over 2 hours long, and is taught by Steve Dacri, a true expert in his field.
Not dissing JN's Sponge DVD, because I haven't seen it, but I don't think you would be able to find better value for money than the Toolkit.
First of all thank you for the answer.
I have spongeball toolbox, but the DVD do not go in depth with sleights and things like that. I want something like a "beginnners introduction to spongeball magic", if there is something like that.
I didn't think the Spongeball Toolbox was that hard, but I've been doing bits of sponge work since Paul Daniels sold a sponge routine, about 25 years ago!
For absoulte beginners, I really do suggest having a look at Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic. As I recall, the Pual Daniels routine was quite similar to the one taught there.
If you are a very visual person, and find it hard to learn from books, these are good basic DVDs:
Magic 101 - Sponge Ball Sleights and Routines 1
30 Tips and Tricks with Magic Spongeballs by Eddy Ray
I prefer those two over the Brad Burt one and 'Amazing Magic Tricks with Sponge Balls', simply because I think they have a better balance between teaching moves and teaching routines. All four DVDs are quite good, though.
The Jay Noblezada one might be great; I just haven't watched my copy yet!
