I got my sub from Mike Danata at http://www.mikedanatasmagicstudio.co.uk

He's going to put the price up at some point (if he hasn't already) so you should give him a call.

Hi! This is Mike from Mike Danata's Magic Studio. Just to let you know that the Oct - Nov - Dec - edition of Reel Magic Quarterly will be with us Weds next week! It will go out the same day to all my subscribers, & should be received by them on Thursday (assuming the postal situation is indeed resolved!).

We can still take subscriptions at £20 for the full year POST FREE! Plus if you want to start from issue two, you can, for £15.00.

I will also offer all my subscribers the best deal on year two.

Please contact me immediately if you wish to take me up on the special offer.

All good wishes

Mike

All subscriptions went out today, by First Class Post. I've just watched issue two myself, & it's EXCELLENT!!

If you are not subscribing, you are missing a real treat. I am still taking subscriptions for the year, starting from issue one (£20 POST FREE) or if you wish to start from issue two, then £15.00 Post free........

All good wishes

Mike

Just got this and have to agree, what I have seen of it so far is great!
The bill to potato routine is very funny and a joy to watch.

Also, thanks mike, it was waiting for me when I got home on Saturday, and I'm loving the 2 quid you sent me! ;) A rather over magicked missus was surprised and impressed by a cobbled together routine, which is a good sign

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

I spoke to Mike Danata today about my subscription and he's happy to do them from issue 2 for those of us that have the first one. (This costs £15) which was a relief for me as I didn't want the same issue twice.

Mike explained that he wanted to have all the subscriptions around the same time which understandably makes life easier for him. A great price and a really nice, helpful chap.

Reel Magic Quarterly

Postby danata » Oct 26th, '07, 10:03

Thanks Lord Freddie for that.

Just to clarify the reasons I'm doing things the way I am:

I run the business totally on my own, & for the small amount of profit involved on the subscriptions for Reel Magic, I don't want to keep checking the book of subscriptions to see which ones have expired, & send reminder notes out etc etc. So the idea was to CLOSE the subscriptions at the end of SEPT, so as everyone was on board at the SAME TIME, (LESS HASTLE FOR ME!). Then it emerged that many had purchased issue one elsewhere (No comment!!) & wanted to subscribe with me from issue two, which I have gone along with, because it amounts to the same situation, of everyones subscriptions ending at the same time, AS LONG as I charge £15 INSTEAD of £20!!! & you get three instead of four!

It makes it easy for me to keep track of, I print all the labels out in one hit. Anything that makes life a bit easier, as I have all the other jobs to do as well, like getting all the orders out same day, dealing with walk in customers, ordering, bookeeping, & keeping the website up to date with the latest things as they arrive! plus taking off the items we are out of stock of, plus answering all the emails etc etc, in a timely fashion.

So if anyone has been sitting on the fence regarding Reel Magic Quarterly, which has to be the biggest bargain of the year, then contact me soonest. If you start from issue one, you will get BOTH issues sent together. The next one will be out Jan (a cheap Magic Fix just after Xmas!)

All good wishes

Mike

I received mine on Thursday morning - Thanks Mike and will watch over the weekend. I can't believe that anyone in this community can still be sitting on the fence 'considering' this purchase when you look at some of the c*** (not the best) that you can buy and pay twice the price for

It's also nice to read all of the positive comments about Mike because he is a really nice guy and is totally dedicated to magic and his regular customers. He's going through a tough time at the moment yet is still finding time to keep his customers served.

As Mike has said, he is a one man operation and one which I would urge you all to support as not only are there not enough magic shops around these days, there are even fewer guys like Mike around.

Yes, Mike is a great chap and very helpful. I also received my copy of Reel Magic Issue 2 amazingly quickly.
I will have to make a trip to Bournemouth and visit the magic studio, though I fear I will return with a much lighter wallet but on the plus side a lot more in my magic collection!

The deal that Mike is offering with Reel Magic is a bargain and anyone would be a fool to miss out on it.

REEL MAGIC QUARTERLY

Postby danata » Jan 9th, '08, 21:47

Hi Everyone, the Jan Feb & March issue should be with us SOON. You can subscribe from the current issue (on it's way) your sub would also include the April May & June edition at £10.00 POST FREE (for the two) In June if you wish to carry on, we hope to maintain the price at £20.00 for the following year Post Free to all CURRENT subscribers. for the FOUR volumes. New subscribers AFTER the April May & June edition will be charged more for the yearly subscription. So get on board NOW!

If anyone wants now to start from the first volume, we still have a limited supply available of vol 1 & also vol 2, so you'd pay £20.00 & get TWO volumes straight away (The first & the second) with the third one on it's way, you'd also get the April May & June edition. Your sub would then expire with the fourth edition in April. Then ALL subscriptions would become due AT THE SAME TIME, which makes my job easy, & you've all been rewarded for that by the very LOW price with free postage!!

I hope this isn't too confusing!!

All good wishes

Mike

Nice one Mike. Any idea when it's out? Anyone know what's on the next one?
The first two were great.
