Dream on Department: It's the weekend, you've had a rough week at work, your ever loving walks into the room with that look of determination on her face and says, 'I know it's Saturday and your weekend off but I need to ask you to do a few things while I'm out. This afternoon I want you to lie on the sofa working your way through all those cans of beer in the fridge, at the same time could you watch the TV for any interesting sports programmes - especially women's beach volleyball - later on I want you to doze off for an hour or so and, if it's not too much trouble, I'd really appreciate it if you could wake up in time to eat the four course dinner I'll be making. Sorry about this but you're the only one who can do all this for me'. (Come on Mandrake, stop sniffing the Tipp-Ex for crying out loud…..)

That sounds just like my house on a Saturday afternoon. I'm in the kitchen sorting out dinner and Dave's sat in the front room in front of the Rugby.

I've always enjoyed that everley brothers track too...dreaaaammm etc.

Nah actually I'm usually the one doing the cooking (it's easier than sorting the kids out for bed!) I get to do the fun bath time bit then it's off to sorting the dinner out and still find time to tidy up something along the way in true "modern man" fashion. ;)

As long as he's got the rugby or cycling on TV, I doubt he'd even notice.

Just think. One day they may invent rugby on bikes. A new game for a new generation.

I daresay the scrums could be a bit messy, but they could use girly bikes with baskets on the front to easy the ball carrying.

We used to play topper rugby (a topper is a small sailing dinghy) where one person would sail the boat and another would sit at the front and get the ball.

Was total chaos with everyone capsizing the other teams boats but great fun.

Can I say now - please everyone get out of the spirit?

There seems to be a lot of Christmas avatars still aroud and unlike dogs, a christmas avatar isn't for life it is actually just for Christmas :)

talking of dogs. woof.

12th night oops forgot about that I think it was a few days after...anyhow the Christmas spirit got diluted when Mr Credit C. William arrived.

Why oh why we never learn I'll never know it's not as if Christmas is an unexpected expense!!!!! It does seem to come round regular!

Maybe this year!
