Seriously, the purse frame is one of the most genius additions to any spongeball routine. It just seems to make the trich much more viable and not just..."I have three spongeballs."

It's so hard to explain but that tiny addition really really improved the whole routine!

Thanks to everyone who suggested this to me, specially Freddie and Dini!

The purse frame is a good opening tool. I haven't used the vanishing gimmick yet but have played around with it. Not sure if I'll add it into my routine at the moment.

Yeh the gimmicks a difficult one 2 place because the routines that dont use gimmicks are so good anyway. I might use it for silk vanishes tho.

Purse frames are great little things. But where Freddie likes his stage magic I strongly advise he get Jay scott Berry's eclipse tip and dvd teaching the great stage routine with sponge balls.

Also It has been said before that The worlds greatest magic dvd is a must and it is. Sponge up specs sleeve is taught amongst others. I would go seek out all the sponge material you can they is some really great stuff out there.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Thanks mate, being a bit of a sponge addict these days, I may have to add WGM to my collection, though the Toolbox covers an awful lot.

Link works fine for me, Lokki. Thanks for that.
This DVD looks interesting. I would be intrigued to hear opinions of anyone that has it.

Goshman is amazing on the DVD.
Seeing him perform is fantastic! :D

Also the toolbox gives you instructions on how to clean your sponges.

That vanishing gimmick is a very useful little tool, I'm using it for vanishes, colour changes and productions at the moment. Really worth sitting down and having a play with.

I have used it in practice, but the sanada seems like a better option in the long run.

There's a lot of info on this DVD and well put across. I have been looking at some of the other, unusual sponge items for a final load in the specs hand and wondered if they are as compressable as the sponge balls. Has anyone tried the sponge rock or string of sausages you can get from many suppliers?

I agree 100% that Spongeball Toolbox is a great buy and worth every penny. My only complaint is that the DVD technology was not taken advantage of and set up with a menu and chapter listing.

Yes, that would have helped greatly. Skipping through the chapters to find the bit you want can be laborious. It looks like it may have been filmed in the late eighties?
