OK, so a local band needed a logo designing, and they turned to their local computer whizz, yours truly.
The bands name is Vintage Rhythms - they play the Glenn Miller, Leroy Anderson that sort of stuff. They're very good.
And I thought about using one of the old postboxes with VR written accross the front in big yellow metal (you get it? Vintage Rhythms, VR, and its pretty old. Oh never mind)
One problem - In and around York, and on google images, as far as I can see, there are none. I managed to find a couple, but theyre pretty tiny. (the pictures, not the postboxes)
They tend to be the hexagonal ones, with a little bobble on the top.
I was wondering if anyone lives near enough to one to be able to take a photo of it (without looking like a total weirdo) and send it to me?
If anyone could do this, I would be incredibly greatful.
Thanks in advance, Tom
All the best,
Croz
