Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

I was having an online chat with Greedo today and I was talking about going on holiday again this summer. Anyway the holiday destination has loads of tailors there and I usually get 3 or 4 suits made up for work while there as you can get bespoke/tailor made for a reasonable sum indeed.

Which got me to thinking, why not get the additional pockets etc I might need while at it.

So what would you have in your magicians jacket? I'm thinking in respect of close up work here not dove loads etc.

I'm thinking at least two internal jacket pockets on either side and a toppit as well as an additional "ticket" pocket for pack tricks or additional cards etc.

Any other thoughts, and please be realistic as to what would be practical and possible. Like size of these pockets, locations and numbers.

Nice thread - pun intended

Anyway, for those that haven't already seen it, cards for magic (http://www.cards4magic.co.uk) have a 'working professionals close-up organiser' in their new lines section that can be easily sewn into the inside of any jacket to increase storage space.

I'm sure that someone will be interested in it

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Closeup instant pockets

Thanks for that, it looks like a good alternative, or at least a useful thing to have in the meantime. It doesn't say how it attches, it claims to require no permanent installation. hmmmmmm...
Would be interested to hear from anyone who has bought one of these and, whether or night it is a useful and worthwhile buy :)
...I am a sceptical sort you see!

Just send Clive or Jamie at cards4magic an e-mail and they'll be happy to give you more information about how it attaches.
