A friend of mine has a semi-circular tank like that. It's almost mesmeric.

Now that made me chuckle lol  .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

There are some nice looking neon's in there (or are they cardinal tetra's)?

I've got a bare tank in need of an overhaul at themoment.

Yours however is a beaut...

EDIT: have you noticed how those tetras are sold as "peaceful shoaling fish" and yet they always swim in two's I bought around 10 or so once and ended up with 3 groups of 3 and a loner...not quite the effect I was after but hey ho...it's up to the fish I guess!

Nice! Looks a lot less hassle than a chimp. I wish I had bought an aquarium instead sometimes!

Regarding pros/cons of fish over chimps: To the best of my knowledge, no goldfish has ever grown up to maim or kill a human. Fish that do are obtainable but in many cases require a larger aquarium . . .

(I refer, of course, to the realities about chimpanzees, which I'm perfectly confident that Freddie knows well and has taken account of, him being a responsible type. But as one article in a scientific magazine puts it: "People captivated by chimpanzees they see in movies [...] are willing to pay up to AUD$80,000 for an infant chimpanzee [...] little do they know that most chimpanzees on television are juveniles under 5 years old. [...] Eventually, chimpanzees are uncontrollable and become dangerous. An adult chimpanzee is five times stronger than Mr Universe. Biting off fingers is the most common assault, but there have been several incidents of serious maiming and death. Most entertainment and pet chimpanzees end up in biomedical facilities or are euthanised." Reference: Australiasian Science magazine, vol 28 num 3.)

You are right, they are strong little fellows, but if raised from a baby, such as mine has, they become accustomed to human ways and become a chimp-human hybrid, behaviour wise. A dog is more likely to kill someone than an ape as chimps have a degree of intelligence.
Mine will certainly not end up euthanised or used for medical research, but may one day make a fantastic magic assistant. Cuter than Debbie McGee too...

Careful. If the chimps overhear you damning 'em with praise as faint as that, they will bite yer finger off.
