Ah, the old Card to Floor effect. Another classic of magic.

I hit a girl on the top of her head with a bent beer cap while trying to do Prohibition while extremely drunk.

Luckily the person who I was doing it for didn't see it fly and all was well with him......but not her!

Kind of magically realated, I've got a special magic skirt that's got magnets sewn into the hem. I was wearing this one night out when at the bar when one of the magnets took a fancy to the keys in the man next to me's pocket. I didn't realise until too late, by then I'd already started to walk away

I'm not going to get into non magic embarrassing moments, I've got way too many of those.

Sheesh! I know what you mean. I can relate to Russell Brown in that area...

I can't believe I'm admitting this but I failed a trick with marked cards.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Thats not that bad. It all depends on the trick and what kind of sleights were used.

Even though this isnt embarrassing for me, I still find it really funny -
Me and a few mates were out drinking one night, and i ended up doing some card tricks(as always :D ). I did a few, then finished with "cough cough", my mates stood there rather atonished looking.. and one wa sheard to utter

He had the cards behind his back, maybe he shoved it up his ass so hard it came out his mouth?!"

PK rings and fork bending should never exist at the same time in the same hand.

Whilst the card in ceiling was a bit of a red faced affair, my most embarrassing moment involves a button, a wraparound skirt and a magish running back behind the scenes clutching at clothes before they completely unravelled leaving the first table at the very posh banquet wondering what the hell had just happened!

There's a more to it than that so if you ever see me around ask for the full story!

I've managed to mess up the good old card through hankie once. Couldn't for the life of me wrap the deck up, for some reason it just wouldn't go right and I'd not even had anything to drink.

I find the handles and railings on buses to be an absolute pig when wearing a raven.
The amount of times I have walked down the aisle of the bus with my arm sticking and clanging to every pole along the way.

I did put a post here about the embarassment of performing a certain poor quality and overpriced effect, but that post mysteriously vanished, Ho-hum.

Most embarassing moments were early on for me, such as a spec noticing two cards after a d/l or shouting out something which ruins the effect. Having outs helps but sometimes you just have to think on your toes.
Luckily now, I only perform my strongest effects and ones that I know I perform best and get great reactions. The aforementioned Bat and Raven problems have affected me too, particularly when I failed to notice that a railing on a bar was metal and made a huge CLANG!!
