Postby pudcat » Jan 19th, '08, 14:34

Anybody give me the lowdown on any of these;
" Linked" in Fingers of fury it looks really good on the Demo

" Smoke Rings" Looks and sounds terrible on Demo.

" Rubber Band Card Trick " There dosen't seem to be a demo on this but description sounds good.
Cheers

I have Smoke Rings, but I prefer Paul Harris's Immaculate Connection, which has really served me well for so many years! Cannot fault it.

Thank you Dr Todd.
Yes I have viewed Immaculate Conception " before and I though it was preety good too. I beleive this is a Paul Harris creation but is it available as a DVD or a video or Book
The rubber Band Card trick is good too but I don't know where to find that either.
Thanks again

Is "the rubber band card trick" the one on the first Dan Harlan DVD (Magic with rubber bands vol1:) aka Donald Carolan's Card Cuffs?

If it is it is effectively CMH with one band and a playing card with two holes in it. I do perform that occaisonally and it does get some good reactions, mainly because the belief is very strong (visually and audially) that the card has ripped. When handed out though they see that it is in one piece still.

(Maybe I will include that in my rubber band workshop tonight...)

You can acquire Paul Harris' Art of Astonishment books, a real gem. I believe in Volume 2 you can get the Cardboard Connection and Immaculate Connection which David Copperfield performed on his show. I believe it was on that show where he made the Statue of Liberty disappear.
