Sounds like a plan that man

I was at the Manchester club meet last night and Mr Lever says that in the comp on a friday night some guy from Korea or similar is going to be going a cups and balls routine underwater with a final load of a shoal of fish!

Now that I have to see!

Well, it's a club, so I'm guessing they only let over 18s in. But you could try! I certainly went clubbing when I was 16. Plus it looked like the kind of place that didn't turn many folk away!

one of those places where if you can afford a drink, you got it. Why not? I'll give it a go.

Dont you go embarassing me Crozbie, and no, you cant borrow my ID!!!

(Theres a thought, when the bouncers ask you for some ID, pull out an invisible pack of cards and fly by the seat of your pants...)

3 Weeks to go, all books and paid for!

I'm definitely looking forward to it, but so far havent been impressed by the 'names' that are supposed to be there.

However, cant judge till after, so look out for my over critical review in 3 and a half weeks :P

You're not impressed with the names so far? There are about 7-9 world champions booked so far and I'm sure loads of other great enterainers too :)

It should be great, bring on the drinking i've not been drunk since I broke my ankle over 3 months ago

Well you can add old Flashy to the list (kind of)!

Because I've been investing heavilly in my new show, I couldn't afford the ticket price... But I've just had permission from Blackpool Town Council to busk near the Winter gardens... This means that I'll be in the Ruskin for Mandrakes round!

So if you see a guy wearing a magnificent handlebar moustache, it's either Dan Garrett or me...

(hint: If you pull the aforementioned lip fluff and it's a real handlebar moustache it's Mr Garrett)

I've never been to the convention before, this year I'm just coming to the gala and the aftershow party - is there any reason for me to get to blackpool earlier in the day on sunday, given that I don't have tickets and don't intend to buy them?!

What I mean is, will anyone not be attending the stuff on sunday and going for a drink instead, or do people spill out and do bits of performing on the streets, or is there any way to get into the dealers section without a full ticket etc?
