I have a pack on order along with the Ghost Deck so I'll try and do a review and compare the two.

I know some people don't like these packs because laymen will take one look and think they are not a standard deck, but I personally couldn't resist ordering these.

PS: In the UK the layman is not going to be familiar with the normal Bicycle desks and most people in the UK I've shown them to didn't even know there were two sizes of playing cards! ( nor did I until recently )

I've a few decks of these shadow masters and to be honest, I prefer the Tigers and Vipers.

I've also recently got hold of some of the Guardians that Theroy 11 are selling and they're very similar in my opinion.

I also think that a growing number of people in the UK are now familiar with standard Bikes due to the increasing poularity of Poker on TV while these 'fancy' decks get a little interest I don;t think that anyone really gives a damn about them.

I just got some.

They are nice and move very well. I like the shading on them and the inclusion of a "db" card as an extra is very welcome. One of the Jokers and the box also have a reveal on them...nice. The Jokers themselves are creepy looking.

I just wish that with these "dark" looking decks they would tone down the reds, they either make them the same colour as the black (of little use) or make them sooo vibrant a red colour that they are jarring to see and ruin the mood the rest of the cards set up! Oooo, look at me, I'm a bit malevolent and creepy, very dark and dangerous and RED!!! SCREAMING BRIGHT RED!!! ...Oooooo subtle and creepy... RED!!!. Have we never heard of maroon, or wine, or burgandy or dark crimson etc etc?

The faded deck also for sale now is much the same. It has a nice faded and weather'd look and then there is this rediculous baby blue colour leaping out at you...how silly and what a waste of oppertunity.

If we can hit that bullseye then the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards... Checkmate!

its like those faded vintage decks they put out...good idea, but they used the modern back design, when the thistle or other backs would been much better...

i hate the advert at the bottom of the deck-box from ellusionist....

Yes, the advert is completely pointless.

I like the 'blood-red' used on the Tactical Field bikes. That's a nice shade. Subtle.

I dont like the 'bar code reveal' but it doesnt stand out so if you dont point it out no spectator will see it.

Lots of people know about trick packs of cards. Anyone who has been to a large toyshop knows Marvin Magic sets, almost everyone has seen a svengali deck at least once. It only takes one child to bring one to school when you are a kid. And the idea of special marked decks are in the popular imagination. What this means is that general people are aware of the idea of special cards for magicians.

When you show the bar code reveal you are saying that "this deck of cards has been specially produced for magicians to use". Once you have 'admitted' this it will be hard to deny that it does not have other things for magicians, marks, special cards, etc
