1 to 2

Review

Parker took the S* St*****s added 1 and alphabetised the chase. There is no benefit in doing this whatsoever. The St**k doesnt become any better for it and the effect is not dependent on this particular system.

The innovation and that is very strong word to describe Parker's work is to come up with a unnecessary way of seeing what you need to with this type of system.

The video is around 20 minutes most of them used up by Parker repeating himself very slowly.

Overall

Save yourself $2 and teat yourself to Richard Osterlinds Breakthrough Card System ebook for $15. You get a completely original system that is far superior (doesn't become obvious under scrutiny) and more than one way of seeing the necessary.

Score

1/10

sorry for such a negative review

Sadly I was suckered into buying this a couple of years back - the trailer makes it look so good.

I think 1/10 was being a tad generous!

Kevin has done some great tricks (like Passing Thru). Sad to say, this is not one of them. I was supposed to get this a few months ago but also heard that it is similar to a "tried and tested" system that we all know about since the late 80s.

We should be used to this type of practice by now. Apart from the ridiculous name remakes.

What did Brad Christian called OOTW? Chance Zero? Eeek!

This sounds like that famous quote:

Ive cooled down now but my opinion hasnt changed. I wouldve had more respect for the guy if he hadnt made the superficial change to the S* St*****s. This was no improvement and looked to me like he felt he needed to add some more 'originality' to an unoriginal effect.

Sounds like yet another example of complete rubbish being released with the sole intention of conning money out of people. This is not about magic, it's about $$$ and nothing else. :(

Thank the Lord for TM reviews. :D

I think along the lines of the review, that its way overpriced, and though I am not long enough into magic history, I think I can see the ripoff clearly, but I think, giving away the whole process in a review, isn't just what "no exposure" is about. Maybe I should read the forum guidelines again, and I am sorry that I hit this post, it's just I have seen it in so many reviews that the discussion is going on, and on, until the everybody with a lil expirience knows whats going on, if I call this exposure in between lines, so I have seen this done for in this forum for some effects of Bana****'s PSI Ser*es in the review following discussion, (* Are for not messing up search engine for reviews) and Pos*ment*lism review discussion, and no forum operator ever intervened.

In this case however I can see a lil necessity to do so, but I wish for less exposure of reviews.

I think the bad word in the review is not S* St*****s but S***K is the giveaway here, I heard of the first one, but could not say more than that it relates to card magic, but the second one is a real spoiler, I've seen this effect performed by someone before a lay audience on youtube, where it dawned on me that this is the right answer to all the questions I had. Problem with the performance was that different as in the promo video, where you never see things that make you suspect this kinda thing, this was a full uncut presentation of the efffect.

Note: If some admin, forum something things this post should be in a another category of more general issue addressing or is somehow offensive, please feel free to delete, edit or move it to another section.

This is not about anyone writing reviews, and this is not in depth about this review, this is just the place where I put, what I repeatedly observed, while reading reviews, so please don't take this personal anybody.

I think Chance Zero (or something like that) is the actual name of a Paul Curry effect, but not OOTW. I'm not familiar with it, but I saw the name associated with one of Curry's OOP very expensive books.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking
