I bought the last 12 from Leamington today - they didn't have any in Warwick!

They're not as good as the Wilko ones

Woolies management must be wondering what's going on as their sales systems will be reporting panic buying on forks

You are right they aren't s good as the ASDA and Wilco ones BUT they are the best, by far, that I have found and I have done a lot of looking.

Leamington could have been one of my targets! Ha ha.

They must think we are mad but I have emailed the uberwoolies people and told them to keep them available if they want future sales. Afetr all we just destroy them!

In case anyone is into teaspoon bending, £stretcher are selling 10 teaspoons for £1. I can bend them with my little finger (after years of building it up) May I reccomend getting some just to try out.

But stay away from York!

All the best,
Croz

The ASDA ones that everyone keeps mentioning, can someone post up an image cos at my ASDA the really cheap forks look far to wide necked to do a corkscrew with ?

Ta x

Chris,

The Asda ones were the best but stopped selling the perfect ones (they looked just like the Wilco Ones) ages ago. They are no good now.

They had 4 lines running the lenght of the handle.

Hope that helps.

There are loads of those forks in our local Woolworth's @ 88p for 4. Wilkinson's have a lot as well but for some reason there are no prices shown on the packs.

My local woolieshas sold out of the rounded handle forks (new ones) but has loads of the old ones which I am not too keen on.
I managed to get 10 packets of the new ones but will be popping in regularly for more as it is a 30 second walk from my front door

Aw shucks, tweren't nothin....

It will be interesting to nip into Woolworth's in Blackpool and see if they have any stock of these - I'm guessing they and the cheapo stores there will be suddenly overwhelmed with shedloads of fork & spoon business!

Are you saying that Wilco have changed their supplier too now then?

Back to the old and great ones?

Hard to say without having the earlier versions to compare - what surprised me was the lack of any price on the items or on the shelf where they were on display. I would have asked Customer Services but they were snowed under with customers returning stuff that day. The Wilko ones certainly look very similar in appearance to the Woolie's ones but I guess they would need to be tried out to really know if they're OK to use.
