I've watched both of these videos and I know they are both in stock at my local Magic shop but I would like your opinions on which one is better.

Die cipher looks like a brass "grown up" version of an effect that is put into childrens sets. I wouldn't think it was on the same principle, but just reminds me of it.

Super sight is more effective, but if you get it, you need to make sure you write your own list of the colours and directions. I can't say any more here, but each one is a fraction difficult. some of the results will depend on how tight the volounteer screws the lid on.

I wouldn't bother getting both if I was you - they are very similar to each other. I used to have Die Cipher but got rid of it. Super Sight is very similar to an effect that I have, called "Mystic Chips", except you only put one colour chip into the container, which the magi has to determine, as oppose to Super Sight where you put 4 in and the magi has to determine which one the spec kept for themself.

There's also a prop called Cipher Sticks (a.k.a. magic/magician (?) wands) , which again, works on a similar principle .

As Darrel pointed out - if you do get Super Sight, just make sure that the lid is screwed on tight before you "examine" it. This is not an issue with the Die Cipher, as the lid just sits on top .

I may go for the Die as I thing looks better but then I may be wrong so I'll have a final look at them in the shop next time I'm passing.

You have watche both videos so you are in a perfect postion of deciding which one works for you.

Forget method. You have to assume you will be able to perform both. So which effect do you like best? Which ones do you think you will get best reactions from?

I think the Die-Cipher as everyone knows what a die is and can as it says on the video it can be handled for as long as they want.
