I would like to but this product, Which is called "Power Reel" :o

Yes i know surprizing isnt it? :D
No not really, anyways getting a little of topic.
INFO:
This product is 90$ - 120$ :(

At most FAIR magic stores you can buy this for 92$ or 98$ anywhere in between there. I have seen this product for 120$ but DONT BUY IT! it would be a rip off.

This can Make a hanky paper ETC come to your hand from 80 feet. :D

QUESTION:
Now i want to buy this but it is a little expensive and Thats not a problem but... I dont know if its a rip off or not. So im going to ask anyone who replies if they have used this product if they recommend this to anyone and just tell us your wisdom:D

All i know is you can get a demo of this magic trick by googling "Power Reel Demo"

This is my first post and wont be my last. 8)

I'll save everyone else the bother...

Right, young whipper snapper, get yourself over to the introductions forum, and introduce yourself to us.

You might as well go and pick up a copy of Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic, JB Bobo's Modern Coin Magic, and the Royal Road to Card Magic while you're at it, because that's what we're going to say next

Seriously though, never heard of the power reel, I take it it is some kind of ITR? Sounds like it may be a little similar to a Spider Pen, you might want to check that out to see if it suits your needs before spending $100 on a power reel.

John Kennedy has a power reel out there. It is not really an ITR, similar principal though, but different. can't say much without giving too much away. Like all electronic stuff it has its issues, like all stuff using this particular method it also has some issues. All in all I like it but I warn you this may well end up in the drawer with all the other really cool expensive stuff you are not going to use. I would purchase this item if I was doing stage or platform magic and you have a specific place for it in your show. It really is not walk around show your buddies type thing.

You can see it in action here. http://www.perfectmagic.com/p-1056-power-reel.aspx

if that doesnt work try this: http://www.thetrickery.com/full/Magic-T ... l&key=5000

Butmake sure you click on the "view video demo" button.

Except for the length of the gimmick I'm not sure there is a big difference. Of course I have not handled this one, but the effect is pretty much the same and I don't think the working would be much different, as I said obvious longer and a stronger motor to work it.
