Have a look at http://www.ipswichmagicalsociety.co.uk then links and Magic Shops. There are a number of places to choose from, depending on how far you can travel.

I live about 30mins drive from tunbridge wells and eastbourne, so around that area.

Coopers are mostly fancy dress and jokes.

They had some "proper" magic equipment locked in a cabinet, but overall not a great selection.
