Is there a way to....

Postby overflow72 » Feb 23rd, '08, 12:17

Good evening,

I am a beginner from Italy. Please I need your help. Let's suppose that I have a deck (face down) in my left hand and let's suppose that I insert three cards (face up) in different position inside the deck. Now I want to spread the deck (with my left hand) on the table. Is it possible to hide the three cards when I spread the deck on the table ?

.......I already found the SAC move from Oz Pearlman but I am looking for something different......

Thanks

Overflow,
Roughing fluid on the faces would work.

If you can side jog them (in a squaring action) about an inch and ribbonspread them on a table relatively straight, it should be possible to hide the face up cards.

A problem here is picking the pack up again without squaring the odd facing cards into the deck...

Also, you can control them to the bottom (via Mike's Move or using a shift while shuffling) and spread the deck while avoiding the bottom cards.

Hi mate,

thanks for your reply. I think that the side jog could be a very good solution.

Thanks a lot

The simple solution is to cull the three cards to the bottom of the deck before the spread. This can be very easily achieved during a 'pre-spread' to show that there are three cards inserted face-down.
