Arm Less Surgery Illusion

Is there a fake hand used in this illusion- I have seen one for sale, and there is a fake hand on it- it looks a bit tacky?

I'm not certain which effect you're speaking of but if it is the little Thayer styled Arm Amputator NO... the bicep and hand are very much real and can be held down by members of the audience without anyone being any the wiser.
