I purchased Trilogy at Blackpool over the weekend and have now had time to set up and study the workings. I've been asked in a different thread for my views so here goes:
Firstly, this is the new version printed on Bicycle stock and you'll have to look up on Alakazam for the latest price. They were selling at Blackpool for around £20 as far as I can recall and it fooled the hell out me (not difficult I know, particularly after a couple of pints of Guinness

). I can see myself using this a lot.
The set up takes around 30 minutes and if you buy this then
BEFORE opening the deck of Bikes
you need to keep the selophane! I just wish that they had mentionned this at the beginning of the setup instructions rather than later on in the method section
Anyway, back to the effect and first impressions are good. This is an easy as pie effect and you've got to be a
real newbie to not be able to perform this one. Some very slick thinking has gone into this effect.
I've not yet had the chance to road test and won't be able to until sometime next week but I don't see any problems with this getting a great reaction. It also won't take too much thinking to come up with a few different presentations in addition to the one included on the DVD which is more than adequate for most people's needs.
If you want a strong mentalism type card effect then there aren't many around that will kick as much as this. You could also perform this on stage just as easy as you can perform close up.
As Bananfish wrote earlier - only you will be able to decide if it's worth the price but to be honest, those who decide against will only make it all the more stronger for those who have it.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
