Tis my birthday then too. Although statistically speaking it's probably also 29 other members birthday too! Hardly seems like a coincidence now
(now I wait for someone to quote some birthday coincidence related mathematics)

Okay - you asked for it ......

Let's say you're in a room with 22 other people (say, for example, you're at a footie match and both teams share the same changing room along with the referee  ), what are the odds that any 2 of the 23 people share the same birthday?
When I say share the same birthday, I don't necessarily mean born in the same year, I just mean have the same birthday  .

The answer, in my opinion, is quite surprising

If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I believe the answer to that one is 50%?

I'm sure I read something along those lines in Derren's Tricks Of The Mind

... and I believe that you are correct  .

I think that 50% is quite surprising. When you think about it, there are 365 (or 366) days in a year, so the chance of any 2 out of 23 people having the same birthday would appear, at first glance, to be quite slim :? .

A full explanation and the maths involved can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birthday_problem
