Hello from the cold beaches of Margate!

Postby Hogster » Mar 11th, '08, 21:47

hi all,

I'm Adam, been into card magic for a few months since I saw Si from Burning Card Magic perform last year; Pretty amateur still - foundations are Oz Pearlman's born to perform, XCM beginners dvd, Jay Sankey's Front Row & Noblezada's Sponge. getting on OK with them, and rediscovering learning curves with each purchase!

Nowhere near ready to perform publically & not overly confident at the best of times so it'll be a good while yet :?

...especially as I've just been to A&E with a suspected light sprain in my right wrist and come back with a back slab, soon to be cast for 4-6 weeks & a broken wrist & arm!! cue the wife's 'I told you so' mode...

anyway, thanks for reading & chat to you soon!

You're not wrong there - I've done well so far with other people's advice, but reading through some reviews I know there's going to be some big pitfalls along the way unfortunately!

Ah, it may save you a few hundred, but it will also cost you at least as much! I should know, I had to sell the mother-in-law to fund my addiction. (Managed to get enough for a deck of Bikes).

Welcome and enjoy. :D

No, but I have the DVD special bells-and-whistles edition on about five discs. It even comes in a tin box. Image

" I ve been working hard to reach me target to earn a few bob on a day trip margate."

Wotcha.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.
