You'd be better off spending your money on learning materials. No gaffs. No gimmicks. No funny decks. A regular pack of Bikes for a fraction of the price will do you fine.

Perhaps you want something interesting for your own entertainment? Perhaps that would be all right if you had a disposable income, but by the sounds of it you don't so I strongly advise you not to fritter your money away.

Instead invest it in learning materials - a good book, or a good DVD - something which won't, in a few months, be a grubbied up novelty of absolutely no use whatsoever.

Of course you're going to buy one anyway, so which one?

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter.

Have to agree with cardz here, it is what you do and not what it looks like.

Just have a look on the website, it has loads of pictures and information on each deck. Just get teh one you like the look of. One isn't 'better' than the other, they jsut look different.

They pretty much have the same card stock. If you want something fancy, go for Bicycle vintage cards, which have an amazing card stock.

aivaras,

going by your introduction, I'm guessing you haven't got a vast range of card sleights or routines yet. I would suggest that you don't spend extra on "special" cards, only to ruin them in practise. If you really want to have some different cards for when you perform routines, then go ahead if you want.
I, like others here, would advise you to spend your limited refunds another way, but the final choice is yours. why waste an expensive deck on practise though?
You will find suggestions for people still new at magic, about what books etc to buy. It may take ages to get to you, but if you are willing to wait, you will soon learn quiker than watching dodgy descriptions on exposure sites.
You will see lots of posts, including from me, about those of us who spent a fortune on things that just aren't worth it. Learn from our mistakes. That is the reason they have been posted.

If it helps, make a list of some of the effects you want, giving the price of them.
I reckon we could give you information on a few books with similar in, plus tons more, at a fraction of the price.
Try and list reasons for and against some of the things you want.
Figure out if you want them because you think they look good, or because you feel YOU could make them look good.
Start thinking about who you are and how you would perform, as it will save you having a drawer full of stuff you wont use.

I like that a lot. And I'd like to agree there, and say that anything that I bought because I thought it looked cool is in a little box that I never open. Books and things are used much more often by me.

aivaras,

Take a look at this link. it details all that can be found in one book.
The best thing is, for most of the book, you need some cards, some coins, a couple of silks or handkerchiefs and some things you can find around the house.
You will have more magic from here than a few, expensive decks or one trick wonders.

Fancy cards a magician won't make.

And the advice is sound here... get some knowledge of how to use cards before wasting money on a fancy looking deck. After all, if you're still at touchy-feely-practice level, a deck of cards is only going to see you right for about 2 weeks...

If your local magic shop is worth their salt, they'd advise a book.

aivaras, as I suggested the other day and everone has said today, get yourself a decent book. Mark Wilson is a great place to start and doesn't cost much. Phone that magic shop up and have a chat with them, I'm sure they'll be able to get you a copy. Or even a good book shop might be able to find you a copy too.

I really wouldn't waste money on fancy pants decks, a nice ordinary one will do just fine.
