Monkey in the Middle has been around for some time and yet it is still a very good effect. The two cards shown that are put face up on the top of the deck are Jokers and after the trick is over they can be put back in the box and the deck is clean. There is an older method that is non-gaffed to get the card in the middle but I like the clean approach to showing two cards just dropped one at a time onto the deck.
