So I have just stumbled across the Penelope Principle in Paul Wilson's Extreme Possibilities Volume 1, and although it seems interesting I find it unreliable. Without saying too much, it relies on the faro shuffle which I am hit or miss at, but he himself doesn't do a 'perfect faro' and yet it works for him. The point he makes is that the bottom card needs to stay the bottom card. Now is anyone familiar enough with this to be able to help? I am wondering where the lieniency comes into play regarding what cards can be out of order etc.
