The best fire producing gimmick

Postby cless986 » Mar 23rd, '08, 05:30

Im a big fan of fire magic but I dont know much about them, coz I always try to avoid them because theyre very dangerous, so...
Whats the best gimmick to make a small flame that appears in my hand?? (without burning myself ofcourse), I dont care about the price, I already purchased electric touch and Im planning to demostrate that I can make electricity
with my left hand and fire with the right hand. so what happens when I join them? LIFE!!! with a bright flash I make appear a live bird. Awesome but I need something good to make fire first :D

i have in my mind, a juicy succulent deepfried bird now....

bringing it to life, then instantly frazzling it in a puff of feathers...

dont forget the hot sauce!

Yeah I also am getting a hankering for cajun style dove. I love fire. But I have also found its just not worth it. I love my fire matrix. Absolutly stunning piece of magic if I do say so myself. Starts with dropping a flame into the middle of a close up pad. The fire burns to all four corners of the close up pad nice and slow. almost like a flame burning up flash string. Then four flames one in each corner. And then the matrix begins. But I digress there are simply fewer and fewer venues that will allow it.

If you want to do something with fire, I'd suggest something less risky like the fire-wallet. It's a great effect but I doubt anyone (or any animal ) would end up being aflame. Of course, you have to make sure you know what you're doing especially well when working with fire.

ouch, but I was thinking of demostrating fire and the electric magic first, and then switching them off and picking up a bird clay figure and turning it into a live bird... or I JUST use only the electric touch and use it in a dead bird and bring it to life!!! genius :D hahaha joking

About the fire thing, I only need to make flashes or SPARKS or a big light if fire is too dangerous, because, ehh.... Have you guys seen Full Metal Alchemist?? an anime about alchemy and trasmuting things, the hero clap his hands and then he touch the floor with his hands and with a big spark he makes appear a sword from the floor!!! or transmuting objects into anothers :D great but I need a good and big flash to hide the moment I pull the thing off

Hey cless986, firstly welcome to TM, do feel free to introduce yourself in the appropriate thread! Secondly, what type of magic do you peform and who do you normally peform for? It's just that working with any form of fire has certain risks involved, I ought to know as I singed my eyebrows with my new Fire wallet. So just be careful! Otherwise I'd go with any of Jim Pace's magic stuff, something simple like a flash paper ignitor should suffice!
