Another Introduction.

You must have a lot of spare time if you read these. Anyways... I know they can be boring so I will keep it short.

I am guessing I am one of the younger members here. I am 17 years old, but in about a week I will be 18. If wisdom comes with age, I guess most of you are a level above me. Better luck next time. :)

I live in Alaska. Chances are I am the only one from Alaska here. But who knows, I could be wrong.

I have had a pretty strong interest in magic for quite some time now. I would say the majority of my life. I remember being in an elementary school assembly where one of the local magicians was performing. I was amazed at what he did, and I knew right away that I wanted to be able to do that. At such a young age I didn't know where to start, so it was nothing more than a dream, until I was lucky enough to see Copperfield live.

Naturally I was inspired. I wanted to become a magician yet again. I bought a book or two, I did more reading than practicing (Typical teenager attitude? :() Laziness kicked in, and still maybe 10 years since my first encounter with the world of magic in that small elementary school performance I have not done too much with it.

In the past few days I felt an urge to pick up my interest in magic again, but I didn't really know where to start. So, naturally, I took my curiousity to Google and threw down a few searches. Nothing good came up, until somehow I found this website. And well, here I am.

As far as my goals and the direction I want to take with magic, I don't have a clue. That's probably because I haven't had as much exposure with practicing tricks and performing. Hopefully this time around I will not quit so easily.

Thank you for your time, and have fun.

Hey Buster, I am 17 also and have so far had nothing but great experiances with the forum! Don't worry about your level or who is better or has more talent, it's a place for discussion, not competition! I hope you have a great time here, get posting and stay active!

Hi and welcome to TM  .

Nice intro by the way  .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Hi there and welcome to TM.
Don't worry about not knowing what direction you're going in with magic, it will come to you naturally the more you perform and study magic(Well it did for me :D )

Any way you have definately come to the right place to start.
Have fun
