Sorry to hear that Mark. BT are gits, plain and simple. On the other hand, now you won't be lying when you tell people you're a professional magician  No, but seriously, perhaps this is as suitable point as any to go truly pro...?

Thanks for all your kind words guys, its been a really rough 24 hours, just when things were starting to pick up in my life.

Ive got a meeting today with my union representative to appeal against what is happening. Basically when I was taken on as an apprentice, BT got greedy and took on far too many. They have decided there isnt enough jobs, so cutbacks must be made.

Im not giving up without a fight on this, if anything develops, then I will let you know.

Hi Mark

I hope that it sorts itself out for you in a positive manner but as they say, when one door closes another opens......

You've got far more going for you than I bet the others in your position have so focus on the positive and you'll come through.

Why not ask ITV if they have any opportunities?

One step ahead! just come off the phone to my producer!

Anyway, I had a meeting with the Union today, who have agreed to fight my case as they believe the circumstances are completely unfair, its just a waiting game now I guess...

Good luck, Mark. Sometimes you just have to take the bull by the horns or it will just trample all over you and forget you were ever there. I hope you get justice.
