Before I was on talk magic, I was one of those...I wouldn't say magician, but more of a jerk who would look up magic tricks online and youtube. After going on to this site I realized that this is very wrong and will ruin our art. It has changed my perspective and deepened my respect for the art and its artists. That's all. Thanks again!

I'm glad we made you realize what magic really is all about as you will well know now it's not just about the method it's about learning to engage the audience (crowd management) and the patter, without these two crucial things magic is nothing just think of it this way, the trick is just the outer shel of the egg but what makes it full is the inside, the white and yoke.

thats the thing, get two people to perform the same effect twice to the same people, there's a good chance they'd hate one, and love the other...

the reason is, ultimately, they've got to like the person performing, not the actual effect...the person is just as important as the effect itself, usually more so...

I was very slowly going down that route, I saw a couple of obscure passes on youtube and thought it could be an easy way.. Im glad to say that I too have mended my ways, so many thanks also!
