Gaff cards

Postby dimabbq » Mar 26th, '08, 16:21

I've recently bought a deck of DF cards to do McDonald's Aces and some Fusion stuff.

Are there any other tricks i could do with DFs or F/B cards?

Thanks in advance

yup, loads. Have a flick most books on cards they should give you some ideas. I know Mark Wilson's got some in his book and I'm pretty sure there's a whole chapter on them in the encyclopedia of card tricks

I've seen a couple of small books in my local shop that deal exclusively with DF cards. I don't remember their names, but when I find out, I'll tell you.

I'll second that encyclopedia of card tricks has a section on DF and DB's as well as Mark Wilson's CCIM.

You could also check out 2 faced from BBM media if gaffed cards are your thing. Some nice effects on there with DF's

Although I'd say that MacDonalds Aces is the strongest effect you'll get with DF's. This is only my opinion of course.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

I hate my DF cards. first they tell me one thing then they turn around around tell me another. Just like so many two faced people I know.

Okay I couldn't help myself.

I had a thing about DF cards a while back. I used them for everything.
Occasionally I'd stick one in a deck and not use it, just because I could =/

Anyway, just sit and think about the properties of the props and what they can add to a deck and let your imagination run free...

Princess Card Trick is an excellent card effect. Get on Youtube and watch Cyril perform this. You'll want to do it.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I shall check some books out, the only problem being i just bought a load of magic stuff and will have to wait for some time until my next purchase.

I dont actually like gaff cards but wanted to do McD's Aces so it was the cheapest way to go about it.

This also means all my magic books are "impromptu".
