Help!

Postby magician's wife » Mar 29th, '08, 15:05

Hi, I hope you will all forgive my ignorance, but my boyfriend is a professional magician, and he's been performing for 17 years. It's his birthday next week, and he's asked me to get him a dvd called XCM but the only one I can find is for beginners, and I was under the impression that he was advanced?

Does anyone have any idea whether this is correct, as I don't want him to be offended if I get him the wrong level!

Hello. I'm also a professional magician and I have been performing for over 30 years. If I were going to get into XCM, I would need a beginner's guide.

There is a difference between magic and "extreme card magic." The XCM crowd are more jugglers of cards than actual magicians, so it is a study in and of itself.

If your boyfriend told you that he wanted the DVD called "XCM" then that is what you should get for him. If that's wrong, then it's his own damn fault for not being more specific.

Mike.

Thanks!

Or you could just ask your boyfriend for clarification. It's not like it would spoil the surprise since he's the one who is asking for it in the first place.
