Items of Interest to magicians

Hi

Items of interest for magicians

Last night I was in my local Ikea, they have a sale on at the moment (running till 10th July) and one of the items is
a plant stand (name Laxne item no. 800.486.30) it is a heavy metal frame approximately 4 feet high with two round shelves
one at 12 inches off the ground the 3 feet 6 inches. The frame is hinged so that it folds flat. I have posted pictures at

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/g.colvan/plant_stand.htm

and will leave them on for a month from the date of this post.

As it is the height is to high for working on but I am sure it could be cut and a suitable top fitted.
What I liked about its it was only £3.

Another item I came across and I don’t know if its been reviewed here yet is from The Gadget Shop.
It’s a pack of playing cards called Texas Hold Em.
The pack of cards comes with 3 bullet holes through them
along with a carrying case. Full details and Pictures can be found at

The Gadgetshop

I have not bught a pack yet because I had already picked up to much in the Gadget Shop sale, if anyone else has bought it
I would be pleased to hear about its quality. Thanks

These are GREAT!

I was also happy to see they didn't feature in the Gadget Shop Sale... cos I bought them a couple of weeks back and I'd have been very miffed :)

The quality is fine. The holes LOOK pretty good. They've got charring printed aroudn them :) And the leather case is very nicely done. Thick, heavy leather (or psuedo leather). Brown, saddle-style :)

It's very easy to think of a routine around this deck. If not two :)

A brilliant addition to any collection. BUY NOW if you love cards. Plus—you get two decks, so even dupe-card effects are possible.
