soo good i watched it twice, only two critisisms.
the first is always a common factor, lighting lots of it, it minor i know but it makes a lot of diference.

the second is even pettier ie you used the same coin set inbetween your fades telling us what you are.

apart from thoughs hardly worth speaking about critisisms the whole vid is great, shows off your talent and is cut well, would be ideal as an opener video for your site or as a promo in your advertisment pack, great job as they say in america.

must get off my backside and put tougether something.

Ok, a few things here - and none about the magic itself which was all performed beautifully!

First of all, as discoman said, lighting is a problem. I found myself straining to see exctly what was going on a few times!
Secondly, the video goes on just a bit too long for a promo video I think. I think at half the length you could showcase your talents equally as well.
And finally, this might be the most anal thing ever but could be handy for you - I really had a hard job making out the email address at the end. Hard to book you if you can't get in contact to be honest!

But as I said, all the magic was done beautifully :D

thanks Eckozero, your comments are very encouraging! Again, I'm really glad you like it!

At first, i thought of making this video as a promo video, but then someone pointed out to me that a video with audience is better.

Hence, i will use this video as entertainment purposes.

:D

Wow. Really dramatic. *sniffling* It was so beautiful! :D

I think the lighting was okay, I dont' think there is a real need to do another video.

Excellent work. I think you need a little more time on the bills routine. For me, your handling was very deliberate and in some cases, you looked like you were trying very hard to align the bills in a specific way. The changes themselves looked great, but I think you just need to relax more in the displays before and after the changes.

I didn't think the lighting was all that bad.

Great job.

Nice work.

One minor thing I felt was "off" was that you used small segments between phrases advertising what you do - but they didn't all seem to fit.

You start with a nice opening:
"The magic of" - Okay, I see a card trick. Cool.

"Magician" - Alright, another card trick, a little spookier vibe.

"Illusionist" - Well, technically still accurate, but "illusionist" tends to make laymen think more stage-oriented material, maybe parlour. Coin tricks are also pretty hard to build suspense for without patter.

"Entertainer" - Ok, another coin trick. Given the (above) difficulty with silent coin magic, I'm not horribly entertained at this point, which is where it drags a bit. Maybe something showcasing some interaction with the audience (if you're that far) or a more lively trick.

"Artist" - And we finish with a fine paper clippings to money effect. No offense, but that particular trick doesn't really highlight the Art of magic to me. But with a dramatic and artistic effect this would be appropriate.

I hope this doesn't come off as picking, it was a good demo video showing off solid close-up effects.

Routining is hard, even harder without patter and in a short video where you're trying to highlight yourself.

Play to your strengths and good luck.

thank you guys! I really appreciate the comments! :D

agecroft, yes I'm currently in Malaysia. If god willing, I'll be back in London in September.

Demitri, i do notice my awkward hands when handling the bills. Maybe I'm too afraid that I'll flash something. I think I'll work on that. Thank you for the advice.

Mage Tyler, thank you for the constructive comments. I do realise that the small segments does not fit with the video. I just thought that it was a cool video effects to add on. I will work on something else for the next video.
