ahem...read this in your best martin lewis voice...

i shall have to inform the bronz personage that he was not the originator of anything except posting an idea that I, ABRAXUS ALREADY HAD!

he seems a terribly impolite person, and really rather daft for not realising that i had asked who was up for meeting nearly 8 months before he had the "idea".

I shall be consulting my lawyers on the above statements.

 :D

ah that was quite poor actually...hungover, hungry, and waiting on all 3 volumes of the Jinx to arrive dont go well together...

we've got a guest arriving at 2pmish by the way...

Right guys - I've checked the old bank balance and unfortunately I wont be able to make it to this one :( :( :(

Maybe next time, when I have a job and actual money and everything.

Sigh.

I'm not angry, just disappointed.

I suppose I'd better get going then.

Well what a good meet up that was! A record number in attendance:

Greedo
Abraxus
Markdini - (Soon to be called Meatloafdini!)
Me
Bronz
Beardy
Voodoo Mick
And Simon and Andy

Monkey was missed....

I feel that maybe I owe Beardy an apology - I was really quite mean to him, not buying him a lemonade and performing Coinvexed while he was in the toilet.....

....but then again - maybe not

Much magic was performed, many cards were dropped (especially during the 8 pint routines) but by far the best performance was dear Mr Abraxus tearing a strip off the Beardless one by doing one of the longest personalised rants I have heard in my life (with a little input from Greedo) - you just had to be there to hear it - a standing ovation should have been forthcoming!

All in all a very enjoyable afternoon and evening - even the trains didn't p*ss me around on the way home for once!

I have hiccups and I thoughly blame the London TM meet.

Also that woman at the table was the first person to see through my biddle trick in 2 years. I want her destroyed, Mind you, seeing that group having their photo taken with the freshly bent fork I supplied was great.

I would like to thank all attendees for a great night. Winning 40 notes on the national had nowt to do with it

just got in, i went for a magnificient curry with simon j. lea to give him his full terrible name...le-a or lee as in pee?

anyway, he wouldnt shut up about chips; even though the food was as tasty as tasty could be...i quite enjoyed chatting to the belgian lady at the start, and the posh lady...sorry, beardykins it was..who kept on going on with his ACR thing that made me feel sick...

i was look ing forward to the mental-challeange off thingy that he promised - but apperantly, his handbag couldnt take it...

still, nice visible colour changes...no...wait...isn't the point in?

anyway, good fun, met some people i maybe shouldnt of...sat next to women from southend who gave me their number...wrong on all counts...

good fun though...

Just so you can all sleep comfortably in your beds tonight I have no longer got hiccups.
It is true however that someone did back out of a challenge they instigated. oooh the shame!

Twas a super good meet, characterised by the usual mixture of classy magic and informed banter. Well, mostly loud swearing actually. Always nice to see new faces too. Who would have thought that D'Lites could be used in mentalism eh? Andy said to me afterwards "That Ian was a good bloke but everything had to be a prediction," which made me chuckle.

It was great to meet some of the TMers at the Lyceum.. imagine my surprise to find that Blapsing Beard hasn't got a beard at all, and Markdini has a horrifying ponytail!
Not to worry. Luvverly afternoon, wish I could have stayed longer but had to go to a 40th birthday bash on a boat on the thames.
Thank you for the friendly welcome. :)
