That looks really good, but I don't think I'll be buying it. I'm not a gaff fan.

Hi Lawrence,

I know you havn't tried it out yet, but I'm wondering if you can let us know what you think of it, IF you've looked at it (Not performed for specs),
you know, kinda first opinion so to speak?

(Hopefully you understand what I'm rabbiting on about?)
Cheers Taf

That's fantastic! Who though Jimmy Carr was friends with magicians?

I think I'm gonna bring this out of the bag once, for other magicians, and then never see it again. There's a lot of work behind it, getting it out there for spectators to see. Not really gonna be useful for walkaround, but like I say it may go down well for your mates at the club, or for a once off pre planned kind of thing.
Yes, it gets reactions, there's pretty much no way for a laymen to explain how you did what you have just done. But I think that's more through total confusion than amazement, sorry to say.

Fantastic!

But...

There's two effects in there—I mean, the whole thing could have been two separate effects.

I just feel that this is a bit like putting go-faster stripes on a Maclaren F1... something which was already good seemingly needs to be that little bit better, but does it really need it.

The ending complicates things immensely from a spectator's point of view. There's already 3 cards to keep track of, and then we see the nice little inky bit.

Mr Seige has hit the nail on the head.
I doubt i will ever perform this as a full routine but I can see me using parts of it. The prediction can easily be used by itself for a trick and could be played up to be something quite special. And when I finally get round to giving it a practise I can see me using the transformation with the ink and whatnot. But like the man says, it's big, there's a lot of work and it could be confusing. Seperatly it's very nice; and i will be using it, just not all in one go.

PS: The DVD is just great to watch, but I'm not quite sure why, i think i just like Adam Bloom
Although his signiture has now rubbed off the DVD case! grrr
