Hi guys

I must say it was the most inspiring thing I have ever seen.....And meeting him post show was just ace, he was a very nice bloke!

and for the last 24 hour I have been obsessing with parts of the show!!!!!!!!!!

I feel that my act might be getting an overhaul!

If you want someone to put a bet on a loosing dog and collect the winnings, I'll check my diary-but I think I might be free that day! :P

I actually I sort of did this the other day. I took my Grand National slip into the bookies and it was an Each Way bet which should have got me about £7.20 but it was paid to win!

Not hugely relevant to the thread... but fun to know!

Better than having the winning ticket only to find your super efficient other half has washed your jeans and there is now paper lining the washing machine! :x

haha, I went to the show on Friday on Reading. Twas amazing. The oracle act blew me away, along with the banknote serial number. The whole show was wonderfully presented, with just the perfect match of humour and mentalism.

Brilliant man.

ahh we must have been standing outside the stage door together then!!

was a really good show.. although I've seen it a few times now.. you wheren't the guy that got his chest signed were you!??! ;) I did like DB's humor at that one.. "I've never been asked to sign a tit before!"

I was the last to leave the stagedoor I think... I'd got DB to sign my original (non ebay brought!) copies of pure effect and absolute magic.. we had a long chat about things, and he was very very down to earth and pleasant.. he even shouted 'bye thanks for coming' as we wandered our through the underground parts of the hexagon to the oracle...

I was the guy with the big white camper van(and the magician hoodie) that stole Derren so my mate in his wheel chair could get an autograph!!!

Weird!

then yes we were stood next to each other... he signed your program and then you said.. my mates in the van.. he's back in his chair would you mind.. and he went over... you were immediately next to me :)

weirdly though.. when it was only myself and DB left he said... 'you were sat... back of the flat stalls... middle.. slightly off to my left.. correct..' which was spot on.. I had almost dead center seats last row of the flat stalls...

might have been a lucky guess or he's some sort of mind reader or something... ;)
