I was browsing an old magic catalogue of 'Mephisto-huis". This catalogue seems to be published in 1980's. The black and white diagrams are really fantastic and difficult to see nowdays. Also the diagrams are drawn to represent the effects. For example :

1. Breakawat Wand Diagram :
First diagram displays a young lady holding a wand and a next diagram displays an old lady holding a broken wand.

2. Out of this World:
An arrow as an input (representing mixed cards) to a block and 2 arrows as output(representing red and black cards).

EZ Magic magic catalogue has a few good diagrams for some products.

The diagrams in Abbot's magic catalogue represents the products like TT etc and does not represent effects.

Lastly Electrofun published a magic brouchre in 1986 where there was about 20 pages of magic cartoons. It is really worth going through it.

Harries Magic also came out with a small catalogue with good diagrams. The quality of the paper and the print quality is so hgood that it is just difficult to print in today's environment.

Overall magic catalogues with good diagrams is just difficult to get where photographs and internet have taken over importance of diagrams.
