I was up late on a camp out once, and was walking outside when I heard screams. "Oh My God! what is that and I looked up and it was a fire ball or comet or asteroid or something in the sky. I could see it through the clouds it had a trail of embers coming off of it, everyone in the campsite heard the sonic boom which lasted five seconds, and then it stopped and where it was a second ago was a star. Has anyone seen anything similar? Or was this a UFO?
