Has anybody used both? How do they compare? I suspect that they only differences will be practical ones that don't concern the actual effect but it would still be interesting to know.

Mine is a The Time machine which has the leather rather than metal strap, which personally I prefer but also does make quite a difference to the price.

The quality of the Masters version is much better, I know this cos it tells me in the instructions

on a subnote guys, loonybin do a time machine watch in an old style fob watch complete with metal close cover to hide the face which should give you an added imputus to your patter, its about £80.

Not sure how that could work if you can't see the face

sorry meerly describeing the type of fob watch.
but think of it this way some one says a time, you close the watch they write down the time, you flash it with your lighter and the time apears on the watch.

I personaly allow the spectator to
hold the watch.
Facing you, get them to hold the watch at finger tips
arm outstreched in there right hand, At the right moment
reach over with your left hand taking there fingers and turn there hand
towards them!!

This method will get you 10 times the reaction
guarenteed, you didnt even touch the watch

ok, the watch IS amazing i have to say. but how about for thee most spectacular effect, especially in restaurants....

steal the time maybe?
if any of you are confident in stealing watches bracelets etc while they are holding the watch, if you can make them concentrate hard enough you could take their watch from them.

when you have the watch to the time they want, and you have to reset it, ask them for the real time and watch their faces!!!! P.S I'm not TOTALLY familiar with the watch and dont know the exact secret, but i do a watch stopping trick normally with someone elses watch and take theirs etc.

Rather than the traditional routine I've used it to get the spec to read my mind ie I set a time and try and transmit this thought to the spec. Anyone else used it like this?

Yeah thats how I used to do it until my watch broke

I bought one of these, with the leather strap.

It looks really nice, but the 'gubbins' can be a little tempremental.

In my view it needs to work 100% all the time ...
