Hey everyone,

You can call me Memento and I'm from Lancaster, UK (45 minutes or so from Manchester).

I am 17, almost 18, and I used to be heavily into magic. Never really stage magic, but more so street/close up magic. I left it for a bit but over the next few months I want to get more into it, and perhaps change my part time job from waiter to working as a magician in some local pubs/bars/restaurants/etc. I love doing magic and nothing is more pleasing than the look of astonishment on peoples faces.

I normally do card magic, but I want to branch off into something a bit different. Not really coin magic, but perhaps PK magic? I also never like using thread, but maybe I can try using loops again (although I never really took to them). I have learned from my mistakes in the past, when I was younger, and will no longer buy one off 'tricks' but invest my money in systems and books. I have quite a lot of books on magic which I enjoy, but again, I want to invest in some systems.

I was looking at the PK/m5 system, but I would love to hear from some restaurant/bar magicians and know what you all find useful/effective!!
