I also would like to support mike danatas magic studio. I ordered from him last night, paid through paypal at about 11 oclock last night, and received a personal response from him at that time! i emailed him back, thanking him for such a personal touch and again received a response that made me feel welcome to approach him, and also some advice.

This is probably the best shop i have bought from online, not just magic, but the best one!

Absolutely 101% recomended!

:)

my priases have to go to Mark and Suzanne at Prudhoemagic.co.uk - they also have an ebay shop, and (with me anyways) ALWAYS deliver next day, and contains a hand written thank you message - they often offer freebies and great deals (latest being 2 decks of bikes for 3 quid - I got 6 decks :D) and a sharpie with a card printed on it - AMAZING effect, thrown in for free when you spend over £20 !!!

HI,

Seeing how the Praise post has started I should add a few:
House of Magic UK - Stourbridge (As a bricks and Mortar shop and somewhere where I can order other non stocked items) are excellent, friendly and alsways offer coffee/tea when you visit.
Prudhoe, NUMS and Alakazam offered me excellent service and have never let me down - ever.
Mike at DUDETHATSCOOLLAGIC is also an absolute star and has let me pop round on a Saturday to pick things up from him - His customer service is impeccable!
Finally - Owen P from BigBlindMedia has always been great at sending out when promised and providing responses to emails!

Some very nice looking props on that site. Proper quality, crafted with love in the "Kingdom of Thailand".

(I know that sounds sarcastic, but it isn't meant to be!)

I too would like to commend Mike Danata's magic studio, he is a wonderful chap and very very friendly. I use Alakazam as my local "walk in" dealer and they are always helpful and friendly, willing to give advice and tips.

Prudehoe has become my first choice for magic. I order one day and usually recieve 1 or 2 days later at the latest. Items are great and they even reply to all my emails which I find a rarity from any site, would recomend

I emailed Prudhoe on 26th April and I'm still waiting for a response. Perhaps they are away or something. I'd call them but they don't advertise a phone number on their website. Anyway, it's not urgent so I can wait a while.

Hello,

My Kudos go out to Outlaw Effects! I just received my latest purchase from Rick, and consistent with my past experiences received great customer service, correspondence, prompt delivery, and a quality product. All this and the tools for some very powerful otherworldly effects. What more could one ask for?

My first port of call these days tends to be MagicNevin. From there it's Prudhoe Magic. Both provide fantastic customer service - direct and personal. Their prices are good and they ship fast.

I'm also a fan of NUMS, Top Secret Magic, and have recently come back to the fold of the Card Collective and Bond Agency. I also placed a couple of orders recently with Dude That's Cool Magic - despite having been put off by the company's name for so long. Again, the service I received from them was excellent.

In all cases, the shops I've listed are quick to communicate and inform of shipment dates. Their websites make a valiant attempt to tell you whether items are actually in stock, and if they find themselves short of an item after it has been ordered, they're quick to pick up the phone and call you.

Some other retailers I could mention are content to ignore you until the items you've ordered (assuming them to be available) come into stock. One of the major UK players kept me waiting a good month on more than one occasion, and I have now sworn not to buy from them again.

One time me and a fellow magician ordered some decks of t'internet. My mate ordered a tally ho viper fan back, but they sent him a circle back. So we sent them an e-mail attached with their confirmation that listed the items we ordered. The next day we got an e-mail from them apologizing and saying that a new deck is on it's way, absolutely free, we didn't even have to pay for the postage and we got to keep the original deck they sent. I have to say I was very pleased with their costumer service.

I'll second Sheprendo's vote for Mike Danata.

One of the few dealers these days where you can put a face to the name by being able to call in and buy across a counter as well as online.

Sorry it was cards4magic.co.uk, they have an amazing selection of playing cards and other material, some of it I've never even seen on any other site
