I just thought I would let everyone get a sneak preview of an AWESOME effect, actually it is more a principle/new gaff/amazing concept type thing!

It is called CRYSTAL METHod and has been devised by Darius, the product is being produced by the makers of the C.A.N.N.A.B.I.S. effect and will be available soon. CRYSTAL METHod will allow you to move signatures from card to card, AND that is just the TIP OF THE ICEBERG! There are some amazing routines possible with this and here is the demo.

Please remember this is only the beginning, there will be plenty of routines on the DVD by some great creators and magicians including amazing vanishes and a REALLY magical card to mouth routine. It is hard to picture but believe me it will all soon become VERY CLEAR!

Could be cool. I don't know is the card examinable once the signature is on it?

In some instances the card is examinable, in others not. There will be literally hundreds of applications and several ideas on the DVD. Our intention with the DVD will be to inspire and encourage people to create their own ideas but also to provide some well constructed routines which leaves everything clean at the end.

Does that mean you'll soon be releasing a little more information on the method? Because this looks like something I could be interested in, but I hate to purchase stuff without at least a vague idea what's going to be involved. I'm worried it's going to be a gimmick that I'll find totally impractical for day-to-day use.

Isnt that already quite easy to do and examinable, be it specs signature or your own or a combo?

Unless you have drastically changed the method I've seen this before. I'll have to do a little research to find it, but I definetly remember seeing it some time ago.

Glad someone finally spotted the name - it's obviously more subtle than our previous release The C.A.N.N.A.B.I.S effect!

Re the method we've tried not to expose anything on the trailer, but there are lots of other applications and effects you can achieve which aren't shown. I'll try and film me doing a few for people and post them up on Youtube...

As for the effect I'd personally like to see more information on this. There are methods to achieve said effects already. But if this was more of a utility device I could be tempted.

So it's not named after the band, then?

I loved the C.A.N.N.A.B.I.S effect. This sounds interesting.

This looks great, but unfortunately if you can't give the card away as a souvenir afterwards, it significantly decreases it's usefulness, surely?

Got some wicked effects coming on DVD with the CRYSTAL METHod

I have seen a few version of this performed in Covent garden at the Magic cave and i have to say there are lots of ways to create this desired effect but not to this standard. There are just SO many different things you can do with this! Some of the stuff ive seen is out of this world. I know that the guys at the stall are still coming up with even more ideas! I can see the power of such a clever trick and i can assure ill be one of the first buying this dvd after what ive seen. So yes there are many different ways to do this effect, but if your looking for a version with ocuntless applications, total freedom, Complete visual control and something to unleash your creativity with, then there is no other version of this trick that will match this. This is one of the best things to come out in magic for a while. I cant wait!

Pardon? Im confused by the last comment? Just because i've posted twice I'm deemed suspitious. I only comment ont hings that i am passionate about. If i see a trick i come across then i will stand up for it. If you dont belive me authentisity then please feel free to type PhantomJah into google or youtube and check me out. However, i still stand by what i said about the trick, suspitious or not!
