Enlightenment: The Ultimate Floating Card by Ben Harris

Postby Replicant » Apr 9th, '08, 14:55

I know this is new but if anyone has got it, please post your thoughts here. Or, better still, post a review! :D

The video demo is certainly very impressive... http://www.wowbound.com/

EDIT: I've just realised this is only available to preorder at the moment; it's being released in May.

I actually downloaded the info pdf from the site and it's refreshing to basically be told exactly what you're getting and how it works, plus the other stuff you need in advance. It certainly looks like a lovely piece of kit but the rising card effect itself left me a bit cold in the same way that CIB and CTW tricks do. Just so many about.

However I'm quite interested in the idea of putting a driving license down on the table and levitating that so if a positive review pops up I might make a purchase.

The artist who does not rise, descends.

I'm the same; I don't care much for the rising card thing. It's the other applications that really interest me - levitating a photo, for example. With the appropriate presentation (bizarre?) this could be very powerful indeed. I'm tempted to place a pre-order but I will wait until a review surfaces before deciding.

Enlightenment Shipping

Postby Ben Harris » May 5th, '08, 09:18

Hi Guys

It's real cool to read of he excitement here. Enlightenment shipped to our wholesaler on May 1, as promised. They'll have it in your dealer's hands by about May 10.

This really is a new way of using magnets, and I look forward to seeing how you take the idea and develop it further.

Cheers

Ben Harris

I knew I could rely on you, Abby. Remind me to remind you to bring it along when we meet up again at the end of the month. It looks like a fascinating piece of kit, so it'd be splendid to see it demo'd in real life, in a pub, by someone who's quite drunk.

I was tempted on Ebay the other day - Enlightenment and Paradigm Shifter both sold for £54.99  .

Anyone care to post a review on this yet please ??

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I'm surprised a review has not surfaced yet, considering the interest that was generated prior to its release. I guess it's only a matter of time....
