Picked up this deck today but the instructions seem quite limited.
The pack is described as having two sets of marked cards though I don't have a clue what to look for....could anyone enlighten me please...sorry if I'm being a little thick, just a newbie...

The usual response to these questions is to suggest you have words with the supplier or, if you have the details, whoever created the effect. Very often the instructions assume some prior knowledge and you just need to ask them for that extra bit of information so you can get to grips with things.

You may also want to hold the cards face down and riffle down the pack. This is a common way of spotting marked cards. (You will see the back design change)

Sometimes they mark the front and usually very easy to spot.

I have this deck. The marks are not hard to spot if you scrutinise the backs. Once you have the marks, it's a simple matter to work out how they relate to the ESP symbol.

Is this that esp deck with all the little stars on the back?

They are Piatnik cards.

Oeb, the Piatnik back design used on the Magic Christian cards features a sort of stylised rose in the middle. They are very much the sort of design you might see on playing cards people have stuck in a drawer somewhere.
