is life futile?
No, life is useful, it is strongly linked with the value in life, since the purpose generally is to increase whatever is of intrinsic value. Thank you...
Say what?

Sounds like a subtitle translation from a dodgy martial arts movie.

I'm pretty impressed with their idea of a good magician though.
Disappointingly, it turns out the orangey bit in jaffa cakes is "orange jam".
I wonder if you can get them to generate jokes, i.e. "how many lesbians does it take to screw in a lightbulb?" and see what they come up with. Infact, I may go and do that right now!

Well, excuuuuse me!
Precisely! Lighten up guys! I also asked what the chances were of me texting them a question, then a second, and that both questions reach the same person on the other end.
About 50-50, depending on traffic..
Sometimes they are quite funny responses, and others just put you right in line!

118 just solved the problem I've been worrying about all week...
"Which dress should I buy, the red or the black?"
"118 thinks you should buy the black dress because in fashion, black is sophisticated, dramatic and safe"

Who is the greatest magician of all time?
This is open to argument but considering his legacy, it's Harry Houdini. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest magicians and escape artists ever.

Do you think Houdini was the greatest magician all time? Or do you think he just publisized it a lot more and started a new era? Sometimes starting a great time leads you to be labelled the best at something where there have been potentially better since.

I don't know if he was
the greatest, but he was certainly
one of the greatest. I don't think that question has a definitive answer; I asked it because I wanted to see their answer. And I was bored.

he wasnt a very good magician - but a great escapologist and publicist...
he was told to give up the magic by agents from what i've read...
and didnt his brother have something to do with the invention of x-ray machines?
anyway - ask 118 "what is the origin of the word 'the' and who first said it?"
i think i've run out of asks...
