ok, ok hold your horses.

ok we arrived at 7am myself and a friend plus a kid assistant, we unpacked the disco stuff and my magic gear.
josh the kid had his own table and two tricks to do throught the day colour changing silks and milky die, my friend took bookings and generaly guarded the gear.
so from 8am till around 1pm we all did magic demos, cut and restored rope and linking rings and silks- silk worm- large butterfly silk from my 3way change bag thank you e-magic.
at 10am the mayor and gis lady came round and spent more time at our stall than anyone else, i shook his hand and said its a great pleasure for you to meet me which he actualy apreciated (see i'd done my reasearch), he was treated to joshes two tricks and from me he got cut and restored rope with all the blow on the knot and it move up and down before comeing off and a classic misers dream routine ending in a jumbo coin tipped into the mayoress's hand which she loved.

patter was suitably cheezy concerning how his job produces money for the ecconomy (he was an accountant and amuture magician) and how with his lady the not only strengthen the ecconomy but allow money to grow.

at 1pm we were in the podium which is like a bandstand , we followed a vent act who did magic basic stuff like feather wand and silk effects with tt.
i did a 3/4 hour set because they were running early which consisted of simon says and cann can dances for prizes and tweenie dance music with lots of jumping around and teapot style actions.

we made it into the local news and have had our first booking with the w.i. for the 20th so worth going, also we went through 100 bussiness cards.

we impressed the bookers for fareham council as they paid us for being there and said they will put us on there list of entertainers and said not to worry as we are the only company they know that does what we do, so ego was satiated and a checks in the post, a booking for the 20th with the womens institute and loads of advertising so all in all a great day.

my brother is giveing me some security work next week and he is getting the rear diff for my van as the garrage quoted £450 to fix it and that was second hand too
so its all comeing tougether. :D

Well done, sometimes it all comes together like magic and sometimes you have to work for it. I reckon you worked very hard for it in this case!

(Pssst! Quick - start selling autographs and souvenir Tee shirts!)

just did a gig at a chineese resturant for all the guests, it didn't start out that way i just fell into it.
it ended up a two hour show and by all accounts it whent down well and i learnt a lot about performing on the fly and that most of the coin work i thought was ropy actualy was passable to the specs.

I'm off to do some security work for a week so won't be posting for a wile guys as i have a van to pay for, till then happy hunting.
