I searched for this, so (of course) forgive me if there's already been another topic about this. Or if you just can't help at all.

Anyway, I've been seeing advice about having a mentor around the web, and I'm wondering what a good way to find someone would be... I feel like I want someone to be able to help me with problems that don't live across the Atlantic Ocean. Note that the closest magic store to me is in NYC and it'd be tough to go there too often.

search through the yellow pages in your local area. You could possiblely find a magic shop and person who would be willing to teach you about the art. I learned from Bruce Spangler. It is nice knowing someone close by who could give you a hand. well hope that helps. If all else fells I would help a brother out even I am far I can give you advice and links to stuff. well anyway hope that helps.
