Generally speaking, I hate XCM and overly flashy cuts. But I actually really liked that. Maybe it was that you didn't go to fast and show offy. Nice one..

Names...that's hard. Stairway to Heaven :D

Why don't you keep it simple, the name that is, and call it the toppler cut.
Makes sense to me. Or the pass out. Nice moves. Not being a card man all card stuff is amazing to me. Don't see the point in flashy cuts tho.

Instead of a "cut" you might decide its a "shave" and call it "the shave".
OK maybe this name fit better to another cut.

Task: Can anyone come up with a cut that is worthy of the name "the shave"?

I'm really going to try.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Can it involve razors?

Personnaly i dont do such complex cuts but when i do a triple cut one hand, the moment before i just mention: "I will simply cut the cards.". Most of the time it get everyone by surprise and they goes from thinking they can follow the card to completely forget there is card to follow with a good laugh.

If i had to find a name for a fancy cut i would for sure find something i can announce at start while keeping the difficulty of the cut as a surprise.

Something along the lines of "Two hands cut" would be cool for me as i could just say "Now i will lose your card in this deck with a two hands cut." Then bang super complex cut that comes out of no where.

I know im not really giving you any names for the cut but i hope i will have help you to think of something.

Does your cut retain the order of the cards?

That will be interesting. I suppose some kind of fast two handed cut involving some ultra fast action might be worthy of the name "the shave". Probably the challenge is to hard, but it would be interesting to see some (failed) attempts.

I'm thinking some form of the ultimate illogical cut or something with razor blades.

Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

bu**er, I have been doing a sort of cut for a while now that I was calling, "the shave", lol

It is basically the good old fashioned three packet false cut that we all know, but it takes the top card to the bottom of the deck whilst retaining the order of the rest of the deck.
