It works very well. You may have to change the chiffon /gauze cloth... Depending on which manufacturer puts it out. Some are too stiff.
It is easily done with a chiffon scarf
Easy to manipulate. You can even do it without the hook up to you.
First put out years ago by Tannens. Later Davenports had a big version with a red glitter ball. Camtryx with an aluminium one.
The ones you are looking at are probably of Indian manufacture.
Usually in 2 sizes. Small ( about 2 1/2. inches across) and larger (4 inches across) I cannot do cm's !
PROBLEM. You must rehearse this well. It needs, as all levitation, body & arms work. And in particular with balls, work on the wrists. Like a Classical Ballet dancer, lift
up with the wrists FIRST. Always relax the shoulders and arms.
It needs to appear from a box, a hat to create atmosphere.
With the small one I created, last year, a learning programme with the small ball for a magician in Lincolnshire. Taught by e mail.
The body must bend, the head & eyes watch the ball.
You have to make yourself believe that it is floating.
The illusion is created by balance between your body , arms, wrists and The Ball.
The small one (mentioned above) is available elsewhere at certainly less than £8.

I think I paid £4:50 from Deceptions Magical Supplies, Somerset ( Robin Thomas)
