i emailed last year about joining but they never got back and im frightened to pester them......plus im 30 and not sure if the members are young and didnt want to come across like a potential paedo (ive worked as a bloke in care im paranoid about stuff like that). Its a shame cause im like 5 mins away in the car. Sax mad might no but im not sure how regular he posts. Im pretty sure unless its an open night you cant just turn up

The lectures are not affiliated to either of the groups (as far as I am aware) and anyone can (and should) attend. It promises to be an excellent evening.

Take care, Ian

Spud, don't worry about pestering them - they're always glad of new members.
If you go to Carney's lecture, there will certainly be members of the SCA there.
Ask around and you'll soon be talking to someone who will guide you to joining.

And most of the members are much older than you!
